House of Games "Rise and Shine" (Ram Music)

Powerful and melodic from the start, this 11 track "Rise and Shine" CD from Estonia's House of Games is a strong contender for the best album I have reviewed this year.

Packed full of harmonies and stunning musicianship, it is hard to single out any tracks that stand out above the others.

"My Child", "24", "Ave Maria" and new single "Evil In Needle" are my personal favourites, along
side "Friend" one of the slower, almost ballad like, moments on the CD.
At times the band remind me of the last 2 Europe albums, at others Westworld, however, this album stands up on it's own.

House Of Games are in the UK supporting WASP soon. Check out "Rise and Shine"- you won't be disappointed.
